After School Activities

An integral part of the child’s education is not only what happens during the school day, but after school as well. After School Activities (ASAs) in a variety of interest areas are offered to students throughout the year. These begin at the end of the school day. The program helps promote a positive school spirit, motivates students and broadens opportunities for learning. Students becoming involved with sports or after school activities accept the responsibility and commitment associated with this involvement.  A list of offerings is published to all students before the beginning of each trimester.

As DEMS focuses on the rounded development of the individual, we encourage all students to participate in at least one extra-curricular activity. DEMS offers an extensive after school activities program, providing students with opportunities for intra-Kingdom travel and competition in a variety of athletic and academic events. During the course of the school year students will have the opportunity to take part in soccer, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, cricket and many more sporting opportunities as well as service oriented clubs and other possible academic or creative opportunities.

After school activities generally take place from 2:30 - 3:30 p. m. Monday through Thursday.

Students participating in activities must be picked up promptly at the gate at 3:35 p.m.
